Although it’s been a tumultuous year for Grand Hustle, partner Jason Geter and crew rallied behind the prison-bound Hustle general to keep the momentum going. T.I. turned his unfortunate situation into a positive by producing the multi-platinum Paper Trail. The third consecutive T.I. album to top the charts, Trail racked up hits like “Live Your Life” featuring Rihanna and “Swagga Like Us” with members of the Rap Pack. In a bold move, over 1000 hours of Tip’s community service were documented on a special MTV reality show, T.I.’s Road to Redemption, which both Geter and Harris executive produced. Grand Hustle Entertainment now includes a talent management firm, a film production company, clothing line Akoo, the Striver’s Row boutiques and Club Crucial in Atlanta. Their eponymous music label boasts Young Dro, Yung L.A., Killer Mike and B.o.B, among others. The future of Grand Hustle looks very bright.
