Kimora

Some say beautiful people probably don’t have to work, but fashion model turned mega brand Kimora Lee chooses to and does so with fabulosity. Still dabbling in front of the camera from time to time, like on her Style Network reality show Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane which aired through 2008, Kimora is not leaving her day job as full-time president and creative director of Phat Fashions anytime soon. She launched couture line KLS, a jewelry collection, a cosmetics line, four fragrances for women, directed the creation of a Barbie doll, served as a judge on America’s Next Top Model, authored the lifestyle manual Fabulosity: What It Is and How to Get It and even created a signature collection of diamond-encrusted cell phones. Even when she’s in the spotlight, Kimora, who has two children and has one on the way, is repping hardcore for working mothers. If that isn’t enough, she is also a youth advocate and has established the Kimora Lee Simmons Scholarship Fund for deserving students in need of help with college tuition at her high school alma mater in St. Louis, Missouri. An enthusiastic philanthropist and patron of the arts, Kimora lends her time and support to numerous charitable organizations, especially those institutions which target disadvantaged youth. Along with the Kimora Lee Simmons Scholarship Fund, she is an active member in youth advocacy organizations including amFAR, the G&P Foundation, Keep A Child Alive, the Hetrick-Martin Institute and Rush Philanthropic, where she is on the board of directors. No matter what, Kimora continues to go hard!
