From Snoop Youth Football Leagues to Snoop Dogg Kennels, there is not one demographic that does not appeal to Mr. Calvin Broadus. After two seasons of Father Hood, the E reality show about his family life, Snoop created late night talk show Dogg After Dark for MTV. Snoop is also developing new projects via his TV production company, Snoopadelic Films. With comedian Mike Epps, he has a forthcoming animated film Snoop Dogg Presents: Adventures of tha Blue Carpet Treatment underway. In music, Snoop’s “Sexual Eruption” off the album Ego Trippin’ received two Grammy nominations. While earlier in ‘09, Snoop scored a global partnership deal with MTV—the first of its kind—to include a new variety show, the album release of Malice in Wonderland, as well as the first Hip-Hop music bundle available for the Rock Band video game. Showing no signs of slowing down, Snoop also partnered with online company In Grooves to launch digital distribution company Gangsta Grooves. On 4/20, Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum in Las Vegas unveiled a wax figure of the rap icon, while French-based cognac company Landy tapped the artist to help launch fine spirits in North America. Later this year, Snoop will release a set of iPhone apps and a new album from the Hustle Boyz.
